About Labhu Ram
Mr Labhu Ram Dovedy/Dwivedi was born in 1860's in Hoshiarpur district punjab and had three daughter and three sons .He was well educated for his times and worked in land and revenue department in govt of British India. He was renowned for his honesty and high values . He gave utmost impotrance to education .All his three sons (Dr Dewan Chand ,Dr Ganga Ram ,Dr Balmik) qualified as medical doctors from prestigious medical schools and practiced in Burma . Susequent generations are indebited to this great man's vision for their success. He will be regarded as the father of modern education in Dovedy/Dwivedi family proud history.He will be quite happy in heaven to see his his younger generation making his name proud and carrying forward his mission for better education

He died at his farm house in Bikaner .He had a orange and lime fruit orchid .His grandson Mr omprakash Dwivedi also helped him to run the farm .It is said he developed sepsis from a thorn prick in the orchid that contributed to his death.His last rites were performed by his oldest son Rai Sahib Dr Dewan Chand Dwivedi. He was is his Eighties when he died |
