Lachlan Gunn of Braemore

Tradition says Lachlan Gunn's daughter Helen Gunn was a "cousin" of her fiance Alastair Gunn. If that statement can be read as "first cousins", then Lachlan would have been a brother of George Gunn, the first recorded chief of Clan Gunn. They would both by sons, according to the tradition, of James Gunn of Ulbster.
