26 February 1711: Elizabeth (sic), Countess of Crawford, was buried in the Abbay Church of Holyroodhouse, on the north side of the church, and east end, betwixt the eastmost whole pillar and half pillar thereof, to the south side of the foresaid pillars. Hon. Emilia Stuart was the daughter of James Stuart, Lord Doune and Catherine Tollemache.1,2

She married, firstly, Alexander Fraser, 5th of Strichen, son of Thomas Fraser, 4th of Strichen and Marion Irvine, in 1697.1

She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. John Lindsay, 19th Earl of Crawford, son of William Lindsay, 18th Earl of Crawford and Lady Mary Johnstone, before 1702.1

She died on 18 February 1711.1 She was buried on 21 February 1711 at Holyrood Church, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1

From 1697, her married name became Fraser.1 From before 1702, her married name became Lindsay.1 After her marriage, Hon. Emilia Stuart was styled as Countess of Crawford before 1702.
