Lady Henrietta Banting

Henrietta was a native of Stanstead, Quebec, born in 1912 who had taken a B.A. in science at Mount Allison University in New , Brunswick, worked for 3 yearts in the tuberculosis laboratory in Saint John, New Brunswick, then went to the University of Toronto in the 1936-37 academic year to begin studies for an M.A. degree. She met Fred through her part time work at the research lab.

After a private ceremonty by Reverend Peter Addison, Fred's old minister from Allison, they honeymooned in Penetang on the shores of Georgian Bay before returning to 205 Rosedale Heights Drive, Toronto.

Henrietta enrolled in medicine at University of Toronto graduating in 1945, died in 1976 after years of working at Women's College Hospital in Toronto.
