Lady Janet Colville

Janet Russell was born in 1550 in Cleish, Kinross-shire, Scotland, to Francis William Russell, 2nd Earl of Bedford, and Lady Margaret Russell. She came from a prestigious family, with notable siblings including John Russell, 3rd Earl of Bedford, and Lady Anne Dudley, Countess of Warwick. Janet married John Colville, with whom she had a daughter named Margaret Lindsay. Janet lived a long life, passing away in 1640 in Annatland, Angusshire, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.
