Lady Jean Douglas is the daughter of Robert Douglas, 8th Earl of Morton.1 She married James Home, 3rd Earl of Home, son of James Home and Lady Anne Home, before 16 July 1640.1

From before 16 July 1640, her married name became Home.1 After her marriage, Lady Jean Douglas was styled as Countess of Home.
