• Joan de Grey was the daughter of John de Grey, 2nd Lord Grey (of Wilton) and Matilda de Verdun.1,2 She and Sir Ralph Basset, 2nd Lord Basset of Drayton obtained a marriage license on 27 March 1304.1 She died before 5 April 1353.1
• From 27 March 1304, her married name became Basset.1 On 13 January 1343/44 she had dower.3
