This census shows him as Lars Eirikson and it is incorrectly indexed as Sarse Enickson. This census only lists names for males. It shows 1 male under 5 (don't know who this child is), 1 male aged 5-9 (likely Torkel), 1 male aged 30-39 (likely Lars), 1 female aged 5 - 9 (probably Nellie although she was b in 1829 so it would make her at least 10), 1 female aged 10 - 14 (Randvei), 1 female aged 30 - 39 (Herborg), 1 person employed in agriculture (Lars), 4 free white under 20, 2 free white 20 - 49, Total free white 6, Total all free 6.

It records 1 male aged 10-20 (likely Charles Benjamin), 1 male aged 20-30 (likely Torkel), 1 male aged 50-60 (likely Lars). 1 female aged 10-20, (possilby Nellie but she is 4 years out on age being born 1931), and 1 female aged 50-60 (likely Herborg). It indicates that one son is available for Military duty. He has livestock valued at $931.

This census has him indexed as Rass and Sarse and is recorded as being 63 years of age.The writing is odd. He is living with his wife and son Charles. They have a servant Julia Williamson aged 25, b. in Norway; and a labourer Thomas Christopherson, aged 30;, b. in Norway; enumerated with them. Lars is farming and his real estate is valued at $4480 and personal property at $800.

Lars and Herborg (Harriet) are residing with their son Charles and his family in 1870. Lars is writted as Morris and he is 74 years old.

There is extensive information on him in History of Emigration from Voss and in the Vossingen's). He was married in Norway and came with his family. He died in 1872 and his wife in 1876. They came to America in 1837) I can find no record of this child mentioned in the Voss church books. It can't have been in America as he was not there in 1822.
