Angus (John, Eoin) married a Miss MacLean from P.E.l. Unfortunately he perished in the Bras d'Or Lake, off Jamesville, on May 22, 1863. There perished with him his brother Thomas, his neighbour Rory "Glen Mor" MacNeil, and Rory's daughter Catherine. After the tragedy, Angus' widow and her two children (Lauchie and Sarah) left Highland Hill and went to P.E.I. (John, grandson of Lauchie, now lives and has a family in Beach Point, Murray Harbour, P.E.l.) 191
