About Laura Elizabeth Douglass
Laura Elizabeth David was the daughter of Daniel David and Winiford Baker. She married Elmer Douglass in 1888. She was the mother of: Jesse, Rees, Stacy, Mary, Ralph, Ruth and Winifred Douglass. Her husband was the railroad station agent in Blue Earth for several years around 1910. Laura lived her last years with her daughter, Mary, in Alcesor, SD. But, just before her death she was transfered to a hospital in Webb City, Missouri (near her son, Dr. Jesse E. Douglass, Sr.).
