DAIGLE Laura (Laurel) Legendre Daigle passed away peacefully on February 27, 2011 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Sabin Daigle. Mother of Henry Daigle and the late Robert Daigle. Mother-in-law of Katharine and Annabelle Daigle. Preceded in death by parents Virginie Waguespack and Sylvester Legendre. Sister of Luc (L.J.), twin brother Roland, and Rita Thibodeaux. Preceded in death by brothers, Eves, Arthur, Guy, Anthony and Maux Legendre. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Charlene, Henry II Daigle, Laurie Seawright, Lisa O'Connor and Denise Derouen. Great grandmother of 14. Step grandmother of Jimmy Pickle, Sandra Thornton, Christopher Pickle and Bridgette Becnel. Also survived by 13 step great grandchildren and 14 step great great grandchildren. She was a retired seamstress of Foster Awning Co., former parishioner of St. Henry's Church, N.O.L.A., and many thanks to St. Luke's Medical Center for their excellent care. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway, on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 12:00 noon.
