Born at St.Vincent, Ontario, she spent most of her childhood at Carman, Manitoba, and came to Okotoks in1920, living there until coming to Calgary in 1953. An active member of the UFWA of Alberta when at Okotoks. A member of Parkhill Church of Christ. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Alma Hogge, of Okotoks, Mrs.Norma Laverty, Peterborough, Ontario, Mrs. Marion Martin, DeWinton. Two sons Kenneth and Wallace,GCalgary; 13 Grandchildren, two brothers, Ross Saunders, Edmonton and Dr. Gordon Saunders, Vancouver, BC. Service at Foster's Gaden Chapel, 540 16th Avenue N.W.,Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Mr. George Chapman officiating.
