About Laura Stein

After the wife of Max Stein had died in an accident in 1923 he married her sister Laura Kelsen on Feb.1, 1925 and subsequently they had a son named Theodor (Theo). Max died before the Nazis took over Austria. Laura and Theo lived at Fugbachgasse 9 . Egon and Herti managed to escape Austria and reach Palestine during the Anschluss and survive WWII, but Laura and Theo were deported on June 01, 1942 to Minsk ghetto and from there murdered in the forest near Maly Trostinec.
