Laurent arrived in Acadia from Quebec in 1676. He lived at Pointe Beausejour, near Beaubassin. He was married with one infant in the 1678 census. In 1714, he was in Montmagny, Val d'Oise, France and in 1718 in Tilly, Seine et Marne, France. In 1719, he returned to Montreal and then to the Riviere des Prairies, Quebec where he died.
