Lauris must have inherited her mother's sense of humour and love of life. She had a lovely smile which was infectious and loved to joke around.
Lauris suffered a Berry Aneurysm ( a weakened wall of a blood-vessel at the base of the brain that bursts ) and recovered. She was then diagnosed with cancer of the liver and lungs and appeared to be spreading to the brain. She passed away at 3.30 a.m. peacefully in her sleep.
