LAVINA UPTON

This community was startled Monday to learn of the sudden death of the wife of Daniel Upton, at the family residence south of this village. Mrs. Upton was ill but a day or so and Dr. Crockett, who attended her pronounced the trouble inflamation of the bowels. Mrs. Upton was a daughter of Lawrence Widrig and a sister of Philo, Peter, and Henry Widrig and Mrs. H. Munderback, and Mrs. Darius Hale; She leaves a husband, and one son, Mr. W.D. Upton, to mourn their loss. The funeral services took place Wednesday, Rev. W.F. Tooke. officiating.
