Lawaquaqua Opessa

A member of the Turtle Clan.

 1711 - taken to Sassoonan's village with Opessa for education
 1722 - returned to Opessa's Town Maryland
 Did not go south to Alabama, remained in Pennsylvania
 1738 - signed petition to Pennsylvania with others to stop the sale of liquot to natives
 By 1738 a Pekowi Chief in wester Maryland / central Pennsylvania
 1740 - found raiding in Pennsylvania
 1744 - joined Peter Chartier and other in moving to Lower Shawnee Town, Ohio to support the French
 1748 - Conference Logstown
 1753 - Captured on trip to the south to locate Pekowi relatives on the Savannah River and died in South Carolina prison
