Previous researchers say he immigrated between 1900 and 1915 at Ellis Island and settled in Massachusetts, United States before journeying south to North Carolina. Previous research also, says he died in the Philippines, there is a New York, United States Death Certificate for him. Greatly, probably, served US Armed Forces while in Philippines, needs more research. The oldest research of him say that him and his brother went from US to Philippines so much, it's difficult to say without any sources where he was born. The only source I have seen is Massachusetts Birth Index of 1877 for this ancestor.
