Lawrence Wilhelm Triesch, 71, of Wenatchee died Friday, Feb 16, 1996, in Central Washington Hospital. He was born at Mabton, Wash., on Feb 27 1924, to Edward J. Triesch and Louise (LaPlante) Triesch. He graduated from Prosser High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1941 and received an injury which cost him his right eye. Following a medical discharge he moved to Monitor. He worked on various farms in the Monitor and Wenatchee Valley as an orchard worker and worked in the packing sheds. Mr Triesch was a crossword enthusiast and was active in bowling until bad health forced him to quit. Survivors include three brothers, Ray of Wenatchee, Richard of Sumner, and Mel of Tacoma; two sisters, Esther Clair of Shelton and Mary Worley of Elk, Wash; one aunt, Edith LaPlante of Lewiston, Idaho; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Cheryl Frank of Wenatchee. He was preceded in death by one brother.
