Lazar Turnowsky was the 2nd born son of Joseph Turnowsky and Elizabeth Gutschmied of Schrittens (Stoky or also called Stecken). He was the grandson of Jakob Turnowsky and Rachel (Dawid?). He moved to Unterkralowitz where he became the familiant.

Lazar Turnowsky got permission to marry on 27. May 1827. He was familiant in Unterkralowitz where he and his wife Josefine (Hoffmann) had 10 children. The first 6 sons are named in this document. In total Lazar and Josefine had 14 children.
