Lazar Kohn-Zerkowitz

He was the younger of two sons born to Nathan Samuel Kohn-Zerkowitz's first marriage to Rachel Kepf, and was born after the 1820/1821 Jewish census was taken. He was named in honor of his paternal grandfather, Lazar Kohn-Zerkowitz, who was murdered outside of Trencin City about 1817.

He is said to have lived to adulthood but his place of residence is unknown. According to family lore, he never used the surname Zerkowitz -- was KOHN throughout his life.
