Obituary

LeRoy J. “Lee” Beischer Lee Beischer, of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2013, at the Horizon Hospice, in Mequon, at the age of 81 years. Lee was born on January 21, 1932, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Peter Beischer and the late Margaret (nee Wiczynski) Beischer. He graduated from Rufus King High School in 1950, where he met his future wife, Joan. Lee served his country in the United States Navy, from March of 1951, through March of 1955. Shortly after his honorable discharge from the Navy, Lee attended M.S.O.E, and was united in marriage to Joan Bischof, on September 10, 1955, at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, in Milwaukee. Their marriage was blessed with four sons, Paul, Mark, Peter, and Robert. Lee and Joan bought their first home in Brown Deer where they resided for 9 years, and then moved to Cedarburg where they have enjoyed living for the past 46 years. Lee was employed by Erie Controls as an international sales manager for 25 years. Throughout his many years at Erie Controls, he traveled abroad visiting Africa, Australia, Israel, the Orient, and the United States. After retiring from Erie Controls, Lee and Joan spent the winter months in Mesa, Arizona, spending memorable times with their son, Paul and his wife, Lisa. Lee enjoyed reading, playing cards with friends, golfing with his buddies, as well as spending time at the 19th hole. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family, at the family cottage, at Lake Poygan. He was a fun-loving guy, who had a great sense-of-humor and a quick wit about him. He will be truly missed by all the people that he touched throughout his 81 years. Lee was a member at Advent Lutheran Church, in Cedarburg for 45 years, and he was also a member of the Peter Wollner American Legion Post #288, in Cedarburg. Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Joan (nee Bischof) Beischer; sons, Paul (Lisa) Beischer, Mark (RoRo) Beischer, Peter (Gail) Beischer, and Robert (Marci Jacobs) Beischer; grandchildren, Anna, Sarah, Matthew, Mia, Madalyn, and Jacob Beischer; and sister-in-law, Diane (Richard) Fowler. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
