Leah married Job Chappell in Perquimins Co.,N.C.
It is said that Job and Leah had a large family among which were 3 sons : William, who stayed in N.C., Joab, who came to Indiana with his wife, Elizabeth (Elliott) Chappell and their young daughter, Peninah, in 1810, and Jacob, who came with his wife, Rachel (Lane) Rogerson / Chappell, who was a young widow with 3 children : Solomon, Mary, and Anna Rogerson in 1813.
They had 6 more children : Job, Moses Lane, Joab, Nancy, Elizabeth, and Esther.
Job married Appama Brenton, a niece of Peter Brenton who Petersburg is named for and Moses Lane first married Amanda Melvina Susan Twitty and then Nancy Deliah Freeland.
