Leah was married (firstly) in the winter of 1787, at Shelbyville, old Jefferson (now Shelby) County, Kentucky, to Emanuel Meddack. She was married on May 11, 1829, in Jefferson County, Indiana, to James Crockett.
A headstone has yet to be found, but it is almost certain she is buried with her Ryker family members.
Leah had the following children whose death and/or burial information is unknown: 1. Margaret Meddack, born circa 1789, in Kentucky, died pre-1855. Married to Peter Peterson. They were divorced March 10, 1828. 2. James Meddack, born circa 1792, in Kentucky, died pre-1855. 3. Magdalena Meddack, born circa 1796, in Kentucky, died pre-1855. 4. Catharine Meddack, born 1799, in Kentucky, died pre-October 10, 1854. 5. Gerardus Ryker Meddack, born 1801 in Kentucky, died post-1855.
