Lee Roy Sconce

Lee Roy Sconce was the son of Samuel Glasgow and Charlotta M. (Miller) Sconce. He was born in Denton Co., Texas where his father was a farmer and raised livestock.

In about 1906 he married Margaret A. Baird (possibly in Denton Co., TX). In 1920 the family which now included 3 children, Hannah Katherine, Edward Lee and Mary Loretta, was living in Arkansas with Margaret's parents, Alfred and Abbie Baird and the Baird's four children.

Lee Roy's death certificate shows that he committed suicide while in Missouri. The 1930 census shows his wife and children still living with her parents in Litteral, Washington Co., Arkansas.

The death certificate also states that he is buried in Moorehead Cemetery in Barton Co., Missouri. This is the only record I have found at this point of his burial.
