Mrs. Leiu Elizabeth Joliff of West Plains died today at 5:45 at the home of a niece Mrs. Roy Lunda with whom she had been living the past few months. She had been in frail health the past year. She was born in Tennessee 10-4-1876 the daughter of the late William and Martha Russell Cropper. She came to Missouri as a young child. In 1894 she married C. L. Russell at Sycamore, who died 31 years ago. She married W. F. Joliff in 1937. He also precedes her in death. Mrs. Joliff was a member of the Christian Church since early womanhood and her membership was at first Christian Church here. Survivors: 4 sons Edgar Russell of San Diago, Dewey of Dora, Roy of Tucson, Arizona and Doyne of Thermal, California. 4 daughters: Mrs. Ella Long of Caufield, Mrs. Elsie Fraley of Hutchinson, Kansas and Fern Moore of Lincoln, Nebraska. Three brothers: Sam Cropper of Thomasville, John Cropper of Dora and James Cropper of Arkansas. 43 grandchildren, and a great number of great grandchildren. Two sons and two daughters and 5 brothers preceded her. Funeral Services New Liberty Church, Burial Martin Cemetery.
