About Leon Antoni Onufry Starnawski
Antek was my Godfather. He was a kind gentle bachelor. I remember his visits when he lived in London to our home in Bromham. He would take me - aged about 7 years - on fishing trips to the river Ouse in our village. He made me my first rod! A member of the Starnawski family, where my paternal grandmother Eleonora (Lola) was spoken of by my father with almost saintly reverence.
