Leona Mutch

From Grand Forks County Heritage Book Vol.1, page 438:

"Leona is the daughter of George Stanley Paupst and Anna Dilcox Paupst, who had, in the year 1902, come to Grand Forks County, near Emerado, to farm. The Paupst family included one son, Arthur, also. The came from Ogdensburg, New York"

"After marriage, Floyd and Leona Mutch moved to a farm just east of Kempton, and on May 13, 1925, the son who was to be their only child was born. . . Duane Ollen Mutch. In 1928, this family of three moved into the village of Kempton, where Mr. Mutch was in the retail oil business until his death in January, 1941. His wife and son continued in this business in Kempton."

Duane continued in the oil business moving it to Larimore. Duane and Delores ( high school English teacher) Mutch still live in Larimore, ND. He is retired from Mutch Oil Co.
