BIOGRAPHY Like his brother Charles, he entered the Government service. In July 1851, he was appointed third clerk in the Colonial Secretary's Office, eventually becoming Collector of Customs at Fremantle. Worsley, as he was called, married Elizabeth Stormonth Ferguson, the daughter of Dr. John Ferguson, Colonial Surgeon, on 16 February 1860, at St. George's Cathedral, Perth. They became the parents of three sons and four daughters. ('Alverstoke', by Emily Clifton.)
