Leonard Larimer

Leonard R. Larimer, age 83, of Waterville, died Friday, March 19, 2004, at Heartland of Browning Care Center. Mr. Larimer was employed as an office manager at Cargill, Inc., for more than 35 years, retiring in 1985. Leonard was a U.S. Navy veteran during WW II. He was a member of Wakeman Lodge #522, where he was past master and Zurhan Shrine, Minneapolis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Elaine S. Larimer; daughters, Jean (James) French and Julie (Mark) Colburn. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jason and Joseph French, Mark Andrew and Alyssa Colburn, and a brother, Dr. George S. (Deborah) Larimer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther G. and Stella F. Larimer; brothers, Charles and William Larimer.

A memorial service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Waterville United Methodist Church, 102 N. 5th St., Waterville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Waterville United Methodist Church, Waterville Historical Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
