Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1924, Leopoldo Torres Aguero is a very influential artist whose main works were wordily acknowledged specially throughout the 1990s. An early Japanese figurative art influence blends with a strong use of color and shapes in his paintings resulting into a world of textures, shapes and colors attempting to touch most of our most sensitive senses. It's accurate to say that the artist seeks to portray a representation of the world as he seeks to understand they way representations are portrayed.
