Leora Ellen Ainsworth

Leora Ellen Tibbals was born July 2, 1875, at Albia, Monroe County, Iowa. She died in Torrington, Wyo., Friday, August 3, 1928, at the age of 53 years, 1 month and 1 day.

In 1896 she was united in marriage to Willard Charles Ainsworth. To this union were born nine children, eight of whom are living.

Mrs. Ainsworth with her family, lived at Creston, Ia., for a number of years. Then they moved to near Fairmont, Neb., residing there until four years ago when she went to Wyoming for her health, which was so much improved that the rest of the family moved to Torrington the following year.

Uniting with the church at an early age, Mrs. Ainsworth was an active church worker until ill health prevented. She was always a devoted wife and mother, very patient in her suffering.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband, W. C. Ainsworth of Torrington; eight children, Mrs. L. W. Otis of Huntley, Wyo., Ray Ainsworth and Mrs. George Lovegrove of Fairmont, Neb., and Mrs. L. R. Brower, Willard, Paul, Edwin and Merrill Ainsworth, also of Torrington; five grandchildren. She also has two sisters; two brothers at Albia, Ia.; other relatives, besides many friends.

The body was brought back to her old home for burial. The funeral was held at the Geneva Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. H. C. Capsey officiating. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery.
