Hello, I am just beginning to get truly absorbed by the heritage thing! I can't believe that from knowing so little abut my fathers family I now know so much. Relationships to royalty, nobility, authors is mind blowing. Most especially I now know I have family on Dad's side.

John Moon was a Police Constable on the River Tyne Police Force, his father, also John Moon owned the first charabanc ( a charabanc is an open top single decked automobile) company in Newcastle but sadly went bankrupt. My favourite connection thus far has got to be Captain Thomas Moone, he was a favourite of Sir Francis Drake!

I will be thrilled to have contact with my relatives.

I became the youngest member of OES#24 in October 1977 during my aunts term as WM. I was installed WM in December 1983 as the youngest ever WM in the North of England District. I am a life member of St Ebba Chapter #24 and an affiliate member of Jesmond Chapter #300 (now closed)
