Lesley George Visser (1940 - 1998)

Brief overview:

Lesley (57), and his daughter Belinda van Wyk (26), were shot dead during a hijacking on 24th July 1998 at Galway Gardens, Germiston, Johannesburg.

Lesley and Belinda were talking while she was sitting in her car in the driveway of his house when they were accosted by four men, one of whom was armed. Lesley tried to rescue his daughter when the gang tried to steal the car, but the armed male pulled out a gun and shot them. Lesley died at the scene and Belinda passed away the following day in hospital.
