Leslie (58), a foreman at a chicken farm between Kyalami and Diepsloot, was tied up and stabbed to death, on 11th February 2011. The perpetrators gained access to the property by cutting a hole through an electric fence.

His daughter, Jessica Daniels (28), said, "I walked through the house and found my dad, hands and ankles tied together, on the living-room floor. He was already dead. There was 'blood all over the floors and against the walls."
