Lester Eugene Stout

Joined the Navy at age 17. When his service ended he worked as a truck driver then was asked to take over the farm of his father because he wanted to retire. Lester entered farming at a difficult time but was very frugal used equipment that was very old to save mone and like his father became a successful California farmer. He love to play the guitar and sing and played music in the Bakersfield area and different clubs and dance halls. In his late 60,s or early 70,s he acquired a blood disease and also Parkinsons disease. It is thought that chemicals used in farming may have caused the disease
