Lettice was born in Dean, Oxfordshire in 1599. Her parents were Martin Culpepper and Joyce Aston. She was baptised at nearby Spelsbury, Oxfordshire on 15 July 1599. [1]

In 1604 Lettice was named in the will of her father Martin. Not long after, in 1605, she received a bequest from her grandfather Martin Culpepper. [2]

In 1617 Lettice married Thomas Ivy. Their marriage took place at St Clement Danes in Westminster, Middlesex, England. [3]
