Levi Miller Clemens

Death Notice: Berliner Journal Feb 5, 1891: Jan 27, 1891, Levi Clemens died in Leighton Michigan at age of 73 years, 6 months & 12 days.

Herald of Truth - February 15, 1891, page 59: CLEMENS. - On the 27th of Jan., 1891, in Allegan Co., Mich., Levi Clemens, aged 64 years. Buried in the Leighton Cemetery on the 29th. Bro. Clemens had a stroke of palsy, about six years ago, by which he lost the use of the left side of his body. For the last six months he was entirely helpless. He bore the affliction with Christian patience. When asked how he was, he replied, "O, all is well, the Lord wills it thus, for He lets no evil befall His children." He leaves a widow and three sons to mourn their loss. Lord bless and comfort them. Services by Elder Haller, and C. Wenger.
