Levi P Hershberger

BIG PRAIRIE -- Levi P. Hershberger, 91, of Big Prairie, passed away July 18, 2016, at Aultman Hospital, Canton.

He was born March 18, 1925, to Peter E. and Mattie (Raber) Hershberger, and married Anna A. Miller on April 4,1947. She survives.

He was a member of the Old Order Amish.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are children, Roy (Kris) Hershberger of Wadsworth, Katie (Eli) Troyer of Walhonding, John (Ella) Hershberger of Howard, Andy (Rachel) Hershberger of Apple Creek, Edna (John) Raber of Howard, Elizabeth (John) Troyer of Howard, Fannie (Daniel) Schlabach of Lakeville, Mary (Alvin) Troyer of Howard, Levi Jr. (Edna) Hershberger of the home, and Anna (Jonas) Hershberger of Howard; 69 grandchildren; and 189 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; five sisters; a daughter-in-law, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call anytime at the residence, 12346 Township Road 504, Big Prairie 44611. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 20 at 10 a.m. at the residence. Bishop Henry R. Yoder will officiate. Burial will be in Hershberger Cemetery, Monroe Township. Schlabach Funeral Home, Shreve, is assisting the family.
