Levi Arlis Miles

Levi had 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Levi and Mary had 2 sons and 5 daughters. They had 33 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren at the time of his death. He was baptized by Rev. T. J. Pentecost at Pine Grove Baptist Church about 1885. About 1905, he moved to the Little Creek community and became a member of Ebenezer Church. In 1919, he transferred his membership to Zenoria Church. There he was ordained a deacon. He was claimed by those who knew him to be honest and truthful and a follower of the Golden Rule. He was buried by Rev. R.M. Doughty (pastor) and Rev. M.T. Doughty.
