About Levi Rogers
Levi was a Cherokee man
Biography
Levi was born in the Cherokee Nation (East) about 1811. He was the son of Charles Rogers and Rachel Hughes. He emigrated to Indian Territory with his family in 1818. He married Margaret Fields there about 1834. [1] They were the parents of a son, James. Levi apparently died before 1851 since only Margaret and James are listed on the 1851 Old Settler Roll. [2]
