About Lewis Albert Huffaker
FUNERAL OF G. A. R. VETERAN IS HELD
The funeral of Lewis A. Huffaker, commander of J. I. Knowlton Post, No. S. G. A. R., was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Emerson Ward Chapel, Bishop George Arbuckle officiating. The speakers were Heber J. Grant, Joseph A. Fisher, Harrison Sperry and Seymour E. Young. Charles W. Simons gave the invocation.
The casket was draped with an American flag and at the grave the bugler of the post blew taps. The choir sang "Resurrection Day" and "Who Are These Arrayed in White." Benediction at the grave in Wasatch Lawn Cemetery was given by Willard C. Knight.
The pallbearers were all relatives of Mr. Huffaker. They follow: Ashael C. Huffaker, his son; Harley Putler and Albert Larsen, sons-on-law; Ray and Earl Huffaker, brothers and David Brinton, a brother-in-law.
