About Lewis Pantin, III
January 21, 2010 18:18, Bernardo Pantin - Caracas
Dear cousins, abuse my memory, it escaped me yesterday January 20 to commemorate the 217 Anniversary Wedding Lewis Pantin - Gentleman , of the parish of Knaresborough and Grace Catterson, maiden Skipton Parish held on January 20, 1793. Grace was baptized in Skipton, we believe in the Church of the Holy Trinity (Holy Trinity Church) July 4 1775 as one of nine children (four boys and five girls) Catterson Sylvester and Mary Parkinson, which in turn daughter of James Parkinson, Hetton, a small village located 10 km north of Skipton. Lewis or Louis Pantin was born in Knaresborough in 1772. As is known by almost all, these were the parents of Lewis Pantin Catterson, born in Knaresborough, who came to Trinidad where he married in August 1818 with Suzanne Henriette de Mouillebert and Peschier of French origin, and those who descend all Pantin of this branch. Grace Catterson is the only documented evidence that I have of our English blood, for I have not found another document that proves. I have serious grounds to believe that Lewis hypothesis Pantin her husband was one hundred percent of French origin. This wedding anniversary is of significant importance to us all. May God rest his soul. Hugs. Bernardo Pantin
