Liddia Hopkins

Liddia S. Hopkins is the sixth child of Hester and James Hopkins. The family never knew she existed. Liddia's name was found by accident while researching the "Hopkins" family name in Missouri. During my research, I kept being drawn back to Green Twp, Worth County. I located Liddia's name in the Oxford Cemetery files and it appeared her death date fit the family profile. On January 6, 2006, Ben Glick provided the following email response to my Rootsweb.com look-up request.

"Liddia S. d. 4/7/1879 age 4M 21D is buried in Oxford Cemetery in Green Twp, Worth Co., MO. In the photo of the tombstone, I can make out Dau of J.M. & Hester Hopkins. This is the only Hopkins buried in Oxford Cem."
