About Lieut John Lawrence Haughton
John Lawrence Haughton enlisted in the Confederate army at Fort Macon, NC as a Private in Co. G, NC 27th Infantry Regiment on May 15, 1861. He also served in Co. E, NC 5th Calvary as 1st Lieutenant.
