GEDCOM Note

He was conceived around 15th March 1871 a week or so before the marriage of Princess Louise married the Marquis of Lorne on 21 March 1871. There were lots of persons potentially related to him in the Saxe-Coburg family to choose from. He was descended from King Charles I, First cousin of the Duke of Richmond& Duke of Leinster, both Stewarts.

He has confirmed DNA matches from the House of Hesse (likely a grandmother).
He is also is matched to the Romanovs (House of Oldenburg), and Saxe-Coburg And Gotha (House of Wettin).

The problem being these families were so incestuous they are all related to one another.

There is also a Magyar DNAline of descent from Hungary. I have not been able to test the line of the House of Teck in this regard because they are extinct..

My grandfather had been an Anglican and attended Holy Trinity. Church on London Road Redhill. Sometime before 1910 my grandfather attended a religious meeting at the Market Hall Redhill. Thereupon he joined the Christadelphians. Who believed the British etc were the Lost Tribes of Isreal. They believed the world was about to end and did not believe they should contribute towards the corrupt State other than pay taxes. They were conscientious objectors and did not vote. They believed, God was sufficient to their needs alone.

In the 1930s, my grandmother said a lady arrived at Copseway, Lonesome Lane in a Taxi from Redstone Station. That is more than 60 years

after my grandfather was born. She asked him if he needed any financial help. In the typical Christodelphian way he refused to take any help.

The term Lady is confusing as it could mean woman, but because this was out of the blue it seems most likely it was his relative or a representative of.

BIOGRAPHY:

He was born as William Henry Page in Windsor Workhouse and lived at 3, Brook Street Windsor. He was baptised as William Henry Pither and registered as PAGE. in 1877 and grew up in 9 Love Lane, Windsor as William Henry Whiting. His grandfather was Thomas Frederick Pither who had his Coach Painting business in Reading. He would play in the grounds of Windsor Castle and his uncle was 2nd Coachman to Queen Victoria (? brother-in-law). An honorary position held by persons connected with the racing fraternity; involving the riding as a postillion on the royal carriage at events such as Ascot. At the age of 16/7 [below age], he ran away and joined the Army as a private soldier with his friend William Edwards Baker. In the Royal West Surrey Regt.

He saw action in India between Circa 1895 until 1898 where he received campaign medals 1897-8 Tirah and Punjab Frontier 1897-8.

Also, he had a Total Abstinence Medal INDIA from TA Association formed 1862. He was also an Interpreter and worked on famine relief, during this period he heard that a Muslim Holyman had declared to be the Promised Messiah and was impressed by this in later life. [1st 13th Reg. West Surrey]
Earlier on army leave he was walking along the banks of the Thames near Windsor and saw a woman in distress in the river and saved her life. He did not wish to be recognised as having connections with the court and left the scene quickly. For months afterwards the Lady advertised in the papers to reward her saviour but he never revealed himself. He left India in 1898 to resume civil life, being discharged from Caterham Barracks, Surrey.

After marriage in Redhill, he was called up for duty in South Africa in 1900. In South Africa, he served as an NCO although he was repeatedly encouraged to take up a Commission. 1901 he served at Lang's Nek, Transvaal, Orange FreeState, Tugela Heights and the relief of Ladysmith as Corporal W H Whiting RL: WT West Surrey Regt. no. 2982. At the latter, he was mentioned in dispatches and served as a Field Lieutenant, but received an injury to his hearing and was pensioned off. During his service he took a great interest in wildlife collecting snake skins by catching them; also butterflies and local African shields, spears and the like. Left as Sergeant. [His full Army records were lost or not attainable].

Upon return to Civil Life, he settled in [rented accommodation] in Cromwell Road, Redhill. Through his family business connections, he found work with Chalmers of Redhill who built the first buses to run between Redhill and Irrigate. He worked as a panel beater. Although he had a desire to buy a Garage in Hooley and start his own full-time business. He did some business on the side as well.
The Memory of meeting a preacher in India talking about a second Messiah in the mid-1890s came to the forefront. He went to a meeting of the Christadelphians in the red brick Market Hall in Redhill. There he realised that Jesus had died on the Cross, and as God cannot die, Jesus must be a man and not God. Christadelphians believe that the world is corrupt and they must separate from it. They only pay taxes required, are conscientious objectors, and will not vote...
He then around this time he moved to 61, 63 or 65, Frenches Road, Redhill where he purchased two houses circa 1916, one to live in and one to rent. He was a cousin of queen Victoria
Then in 1914, he was required by the War office to return to the Army to train troops for the 1st World War. He refused and cancelled his army pension having become a Christadelphian pacifist millennial movement.
He retired to 'Copseway' in Lonesome Way, Reigate to run a smallholding, where he died in 1946 after feeling faint after riding a bicycle from Redhill home aged approximately 73.

C, Julius Caesar,Charlemagne, Emperor Wu of Song China , Timberline, founder of Mughols
His life was meddled with by the Palace and he ran away into the Army to getaway. He complained of very wealthy people turning up in cars trying to offer him money and grace and favour jobs. By this time he was a Christadelphian, a conscious objector and an ascetic. He believed the world was sinful and set himself apart (not voting, or even paying taxes if he could).
