About Lieutenant General Alexander Bethune of Blebo

Alexander Bethune was born in 1771. He was the illegitimate son of General Sir William Sharp and Margaret Bethune, posthumously legitimised by the Privy Council in 1916. In 1830 he married Maria Low. He passed away in 1847 and was buried at Kemback.
