Lillian Olive Ferris

Lillian Olive Manuel was born 28th June, 1883 at Yarrowyck, Uralla, New South Wales, Australia and died 11th July 1972 aged 89. Lillian is buried at Willow Tree. She married in Beaconsfield, Yarrowyck, New South Wales to Robert Ferris (b 18/01/1882, d 29/09/1967, 85 yrs old who is also buried at Willow Tree) on the 25th March, 1908. They had four children together, they are as follows:

1. Bervie Allen b 08/02/1909 at Bundarra. His first marriage was to Nellie Ruby Gay in Forbes, NSW on18th March, 1944, they later divorced. There were two children from this marriage: Annette and Ian.

    Bervie's second marriage was to Mavis Edith Catherine Vidulich (b12/10/1918)

2. Elwin Cecil b 22/03/1910 in Bundarra, he married Vera Sophia Jane Dawson and had three children: Elwin, Valma and Marina.

3. Gloryna Mary b 05/08/1916 and married Edgar Frederick John Barwich (d08/07/1957), they had 4 children: Neil, Roger, Timothy and Edgar.

4. Joyce Olive b 03/03/1920, married John Allen Bridge and had 4 children: Marie, Adrian, Vivienne and Bernard.

Tehy lived at "Strathmore", Bundarra, until they retired in 1948 and moved to Quirindi.
