Lillian B. Johnson
Lillian B. Johnson, 75, of Sand Fork, died Tuesday morning in United Hospital Center in Clarksburg after a long illness.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late John J. and Ada Sipe Wright. She was a member of the Little Kanawha Independent Church at Burnsville.
She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Johnson; four sons, John T. Johnson, Sr. of Weston, Charles G. Johnson of Laura, Ohio, James W. Johnson of Hodgesville, and Dr. Lewis D. Johnson of Gallipolis, Ohio; a brother, John C. Wright of Louisa, Ky.; a sister, Eula Chapman of Camden on Gauley; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Spurgeon-Ellyson Mortuary Inc. in Glenville, the Rev. Ronzel Roberts officiating, with burial in Sand Fork Cemetery.
