Lillie E. Bozarth

Lillie E. Embry was the d/o Robert Embry and Viola White of Caneyville, Grayson County, Kentucky. She was born there on December 22, 1910. Lillie married Marlin Bozarth, s/o Willie Robert Bozarth and Lula Pruitt, on January 6, 1934 in Grayson County. They were the parents of Buelah L. Bozarth, who died before her first birthday. Lillie died on June 22, 1984 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She was buried in the Layman Cemetery in Grayson County, Kentucky. Both her daughter Buelah and her husband Marlin are also buried there.

Lillie Embry Bozarth, age 73, of Louisville, died June 22, 1984. / Mrs. Bozarth was born December 22, 1910 in Caneyville. / She was retired from Reynolds Metal Co., and was a member of the Caneyville Holiness Church. / Survivors include: her busband, Marlin (sic - Maerin) Bozarth, of Louisville, one brother, George Embry, of Caneyville; one sister, Mrs. Lonnie Carter, of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. / Funeral services were held June 24 at the Dermitt Funeral Home, Rev. Edd Dermitt officiating, with burial in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
